Muddled up...

4/27/08 - Nice day for hiking - cloudy but no rain, warm but not hot!!

• Arrived at Bailey Gap & spent an hour and a half drying out gear (still wet from the day before).
• Described a pretty poorly maintained chunk of AT: Pine Swamp Shelter missing its roof (because a tree came crashing down on it earlier in the season) followed by a mandatory detour around a section of trail because a bridge was out...
• Trinity (Half-brew's dog) wrapped-up in animal instinct took off after a deer! (didn't get the rest of that story because the phone cut out...)
• 20.5 mi - got to War Spur Shelter just before it started raining!
